29. God gave Solomon wisdom and understanding that far surpassed others, along with an extraordinary capacity for learning and teaching.
30. Solomon's wisdom exceeded that of all the people from the eastern countries, including the Arabs, Chaldeans, and Persians. It also surpassed the collective wisdom of Egypt, which was renowned for its advanced knowledge and sciences. The ancient monuments of Egypt demonstrate the high level of culture achieved by its people.
31. He was wiser than any other man alive at that time, surpassing even notable figures like Ethan, Heman, and the sons of Mahol. These individuals were known for their exceptional skills in poetry and music.
32. Solomon composed over 3,000 proverbs, which expressed his insights on human nature and behavior. He also wrote 1,005 songs, including several psalms that are still part of our biblical canon today.
33. His writings covered a wide range of topics, from the majestic cedar tree to the humble hyssop plant. Unfortunately, much of what he wrote has been lost over time, likely due to the ravages of history or the Babylonian captivity.
