The Church's Thanksgiving in Heaven for the Judgment on the Harlot.

At one of the pivotal moments in this vision, as we saw at the beginning and end of the seals (Re 4:8; 5:9, etc.), a great song of praise erupts in heaven to God. This is reminiscent of similar scenes at the close of the trumpets (Re 11:15-18) and the saints' victory over the beast (Re 15:3).

A loud voice resounds through heaven, proclaiming the judgment on the harlot (described in Re 18:1-24). This is a stark contrast to the lamentations that accompanied her downfall.
