The Israelites also observed the Feast of Tabernacles, starting on the first day of the seventh month. At this time, they reinstated their daily offerings, and it was on the fifteenth day of that month that they held the Feast of Tabernacles.
They provided food, drink, and oil for the people from Zidon, likely as part of negotiations with the Tyrians to obtain skilled laborers and timber. This arrangement was similar to the one Solomon had made (1 Kings 5:11; 2 Chronicles 2:15-16).
