His Wicked Reign.

Jehoram's behavior was similar to that of the house of Ahab, as he had married a daughter of Ahab. This union led him to abandon the worship of the Lord and introduce the corrupt practices prevalent in Israel, all under the influence of Athaliah. As a result, God pronounced judgment against Jehoram and his household, but spared them due to His promise to David (2 Samuel 7:29; 2 Kings 8:19).
