1Ki 3:6-15 He Chooses Wisdom.

6 Solomon had a dream in which he said, "I am but a young man, inexperienced and untested in matters of governance."

7 He acknowledged his limitations, recognizing that at twenty years old, he was still raw and lacking in experience.

10 The Lord was pleased with Solomon's prayer, responding to the heartfelt requests he made while asleep. This vision served as a sign of God's acceptance.

15 The vivid dream left an indelible impression on Solomon, filling him with confidence that it came from divine inspiration and the grace of God. However, the wisdom he sought was not for personal gain but rather to equip him for his role as king, enabling him to administer justice, govern the kingdom, and acquire general knowledge.
