After these things, I heard a great voice in heaven, saying, "Alleluia! Salvation and glory and honor and power belong to the Lord our God." For true and righteous are his judgments: he has judged the great prostitute who corrupted the earth with her sexual immorality and avenged the blood of his servants at her hand.
They rejoiced and said again, "Alleluia!" Her smoke rose up forever and ever. The twenty-four elders and the four living creatures fell down and worshiped God, saying, "Amen! Hallelujah!"
A voice came from the throne, saying, "Praise our God, all you his servants who fear him, both small and great." I heard a great multitude, like the sound of many waters, and like the rumble of mighty thunderings, saying, "Hallelujah! For the Lord our God, the Almighty, reigns."
Let us rejoice and be exceedingly glad, giving glory to him. The marriage of the Lamb has come, and his wife has made herself ready. She was granted to be arrayed in fine linen, clean and white, for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.
Blessed are those who are called to the marriage supper of the Lamb; and these are the true sayings of God. I fell at the feet to worship him, but he said to me, "Do not do it; I am your fellow servant and one of those who have the testimony of Jesus: worship God, for the testimony of Jesus is the spirit of prophecy."
I saw heaven opened, and a white horse appeared. He who sat upon him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness he judges and makes war. His eyes were like flames of fire, and on his head were many crowns; he had a name written that no one knew except himself.
He was clothed in a garment stained with blood, and his name is called The Word of God. The armies which were in heaven followed him on white horses, clothed in fine linen, white and clean. From his mouth went out a sharp sword to strike down the nations and rule them with an iron rod; he treads the winepress of God's fierce wrath.
On his robe and on his thigh was inscribed a name: KING OF KINGS, AND LORD OF LORDS. An angel standing in the sun cried out with a loud voice, summoning all birds flying through heaven to gather for the great God's supper.
The birds were summoned to a great feast where they would dine on the flesh of kings and their attendants, as well as that of mighty men, horses, and all people, from slaves to nobles. I saw the beast, and the kings of the earth, and their armies gathered together to wage war against him who sat on the horse and his army.
The beast was taken, and with him the false prophet who had performed miracles to deceive those who had received the mark of the beast and those who worshiped his image. Both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with sulfur. The remnant were slain by the sword that proceeded out of the mouth of him who sat on the horse, and all the birds were filled with their flesh.
