The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, "Speak to the people of Israel that when someone makes a special vow to separate themselves unto the Lord as a Nazirite, they must separate from wine and strong drink. They must not consume any fermented grape products, including vinegar or anything made from grapes.
When making this vow, a person shall separate themselves for a set period of time. All the days of their separation, they will eat nothing that comes from the grapevine, not even the kernels or husks. During this time, no razor may touch their head until the days are fulfilled, and they must let their hair grow long as a sign of being holy.
They shall also avoid going near a dead body, because their consecration to God is on their head. If someone dies suddenly beside them and defiles their consecrated head, they will shave it on the seventh day after their cleansing, then offer two birds at the entrance of the tabernacle on the eighth day as sin and burnt offerings to purify themselves.
After completing the set period, they shall come before the Lord with a lamb for a trespass offering. If their time was defiled, those days will be lost. They will bring an unblemished lamb as a burnt offering, an ewe lamb as a sin offering, and a ram as a peace offering to the priest at the entrance of the tabernacle.
They must also bring a basket of unleavened bread, cakes made with oil and fine flour, wafers anointed with oil, along with their grain offerings and drink offerings. The priest will present these before the Lord and offer the sin and burnt offerings.
The priest will then sacrifice the ram as a peace offering to the Lord, accompanied by the basket of unleavened bread and the meat and drink offerings. The Nazirite must shave their head at the entrance of the tabernacle, put the hair from their separation on the fire under the peace offering, and take the cooked shoulder of the ram, along with an unleavened cake and wafer.
The priest will wave these offerings before the Lord as a wave offering. The Nazirite can then drink wine once they have completed their vow and presented their offering to the Lord.
This is the law for anyone who makes a Nazirite vow to the Lord, including the requirements for their offering and what they can obtain by hand in fulfillment of their vow.
The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, "Thus you shall bless the people: The Lord will bless them and keep them; he will make his face shine upon them and be gracious. He will lift up his countenance towards them and give them peace.
Speak to Aaron and his sons, saying, "May the Lord bless and keep you. May he make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you. May he lift up his face towards you and give you peace."
They must put the Lord's name on the people of Israel, and he will bless them.
