Moab Rebels.

After being subdued by David (2 Samuel 8:2), Moab had fallen under Israel's control in the division of the kingdom. However, they took advantage of Ahab's death to break free from their subjugation (see on 2 Kings 3:6). The sudden demise of Ahaziah prevented him from taking action against this rebellion, which ultimately succeeded as a divine judgment on the house of Ahab for all its crimes.
